Stowe Family Law are the UK’s largest specialist Family Law solicitors practice and their new Richmond branch will be collaborating with Roehampton’s Law School.

The practice is offering the top performing student in the School’s Year 3 cohort a prize including two days’ work experience, which will provide the student with a close insight into children and family law.

Estella Newbold Brown, Senior Solicitor at Stowe Family Law based in Richmond, said: “Last year’s opening in Richmond marked another milestone in Stowe Family Law's growth in London, and as such we are really looking forward to building our relationship with the University of Roehampton.

“As a growing firm, we recognise how vital it is for firms such as ours to provide support and open doors for the next generation of lawyers. We welcome this chance to do so for the students of Roehampton’s Law School, both via the Stowe Family Law Prize and through other opportunities the partnership will create.”

This year’s winner of the Stowe Family Law Prize is Law student Irina-Maria Zaharia. Irina is both a volunteer at the Roehampton Law Clinic and at the Citizens Advise Bureau in Wandsworth. Irina is also an active member of the Roehampton Law Society.

Dr Maris Kask-Polacko, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Business and Law and Head of the Law School, said: "We're very excited to begin this new partnership with Stowe Family Law, and for the opportunities it will hopefully provide for our current and future Law Students and our Law Clinic.

"I'm also very proud of Irina on receiving this special prize based on her impressive commitment to her career and learning."
