Roehampton Law School Clinic to speak at LawWorks Clinics Conference

Roehampton Law School Clinic has been invited to speak at the LawWorks Clinics Conference 2022 taking place at Herbert Smith Freehills in London on 17 June 2022.
The event will bring together pro bono clinic coordinators, supervisors and volunteers from different organisations and specialisms as well as stakeholders from the wider advice sector.
Reshma Derasari, Solicitor & Senior Lecturer in Law and Supervising Solicitor of RLSC will be speaking on a panel about access to legal services for diverse communities.
Ms Derasari said: “It’s an honour to be invited to speak at the conference. Although we are a small clinic, we are proud to serve the BAME community. This year 70% of our clients were from BAME backgrounds."
Panel sessions and keynote will take place in person and will be streamed to online attendees.
