BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing

Develop a broad set of skills which you can use to pursue careers in nursing, working with adults of any age with a wide range of long-term conditions and acute illnesses.

Mental Health nursing

BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing

Make a difference to people’s lives and choose a career path with excellent opportunities and flexibility. Our mental health courses maintain our focus on community care, so you’ll be particularly well-suited to working in community mental health teams.

Adult and Mental Health Nursing

MSci Adult and Mental Health Nursing

On our four-year course you’ll begin as an undergraduate, and graduate with a masters. It covers the two nursing fields of Adult Nursing and Mental Health Nursing, allowing you to specialise and work in both areas.

Adult and Mental Health Nursing

BSc (Hons) Children’s Nursing

Learn to provide outstanding care for children and young people. Our unique programme highlights the vital importance of community and primary care in nursing, as well as the importance of placing equal value on both the physical and mental health of children.

What to expect as a Roehampton nursing student

You’ll spend half your time on placements in the community and in hospitals gaining direct nursing experience. We have partnerships with numerous healthcare providers throughout south London and beyond.

 

The other half of your time will be spent learning nursing theory and developing your skills, with classes delivered by experienced practitioners. You’ll also learn in our state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation Centre, which simulates community and primary care settings providing you with an immersive teaching environment.

 

You'll be welcomed into a close-knit and supportive community, where you'll also benefit from studying at London's greenest university, with resources including an on-campus gym and our award-winning library.

Funding

The government provides additional funding support to healthcare students. All new and existing students will receive a non-repayable payment of £5,000 to eligible students each academic year. Additional payments worth up to a total of £3,000 per academic year will also be available for students in specialisms or regions struggling to recruit or to help students cover childcare costs. Study at Croydon University Centre

We offer our BSc Adult Nursing and BSc Children's Nursing at Croydon University Centre, and from September 2024 we will also be teaching our BSc Mental Health Nursing here. These degrees are taught at Croydon University Centre by the University of Roehampton’s Nursing Education team, giving you the chance to flexibility study in location convenient for you. Nursing Associate Apprenticeship 

We also offer a Nursing Associate Apprenticeship. Nursing associates work within the nursing team alongside health care support workers and registered nurses to deliver care for people of all ages and from different backgrounds, cultures and beliefs. Find out more.
