The University of Roehampton is launching a new free shuttle bus service from 17 September this year, to enhance transport services for students and staff to and from Barnes station, the University’s nearest train station.

The service will see double-decker buses run Mondays to Fridays between Barnes Station and the top of Roehampton Lane, near the entrance to Whitelands College, with an extended service to Putney in the early morning and late afternoon. The service will be in addition to the regular Transport for London buses running along the route, and will mean approximately 21 buses an hour will stop outside the main entrance to the University.

The University of Roehampton campus benefits from being at the heart of a busy network of transport links. Whether using 24-hour buses, the tube network at Hammersmith and Putney, or through rail services from Barnes to Waterloo, all points across central, west and south-west London are within easy reach of the university.

We also have more than 600 cycle spaces around our campus as part of our commitment to sustainable travel options. You can read more about cycling facilities on campus on our #WeAreUR blog site.
