The University of Roehampton has improved it standing in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide for the second year running, climbing to 69th place, ahead of Greenwich, LSBU and Kingston.

Roehampton also ranked just outside the top 10 universities in London, in 11th place.

The University's strong showing was largely due to an excellent – and still improving – student-staff ratio and increased spending on services and facilities, including the Sir David Bell Media Centre and the Gaming Room.

The announcement follows on from several months of good news for the University: August saw confirmation that Roehampton graduates earn above the national average, in July the University was named Higher Education Institution of the Year at the AimHigher London Practitioner Awards and in June we were awarded Silver in the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework.

Jean-Noël Ezingeard, the University's Vice-Chancellor, said ‘This is a fantastic achievement of which the whole University should be proud. It's great to see that our investment in services and facilities is paying off in a better all-round student experience’.

Set in a 54-acre parkland campus, the University of Roehampton offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. To find out more, get in touch or come to an open day.
