Dr Yannis Fronimos joins as Head of Psychology at the University of Roehampton

Dr Yannis Fronimos has joined the University of Roehampton as the Head of Psychology

He was previously the Head of Department for Professional Psychology at the University of East London. He is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, has worked in the NHS and in private practice and entered academia as a Senior Lecturer. Dr Fronimos went on to work in various roles within the University, before moving to become head of department.

Dr Fronimos is excited to join Roehampton and the team of leading experts and researchers within the Department of Psychology. He said of his appointment “I see my role as one that safeguards and facilitates the development of an inclusive learning environment where all students can reach their aspirations and potential through a transformative learning experience”.
