Why should you apply? 

If you don’t quite meet the initial entry requirements for a postgraduate degree, this course will help you gain the confidence to study for Level 7 in the UK.

You’ll be taught by dedicated specialist and international/English language tutors, who are passionate about what they teach in high-spec facilities. 

To apply for this course, you’ll need: 

  • An undergraduate degree (third class, pass or ordinary from a UK university or international equivalent) 
  • IELTS 5.5 (for the two semester extended option) or IELTS 6.0 (one semester option) or accepted international equivalents 

 

Fees

1 semester - Additional £4000 to PG fee

2 semesters - Addtional £7000 to PG fee

Start dates

Our extended programmes start in July, September and January and are 15 months of study.

So, for example, if you start our extended programme in September 2024, you will complete your studies in Janury 2026.  

When you start, you’ll study six modules over either one of two semesters, depending on your entry level. These modules are: 

  • English for Masters Study 1 
  • Research Analysis 
  • Specialism in Business or Computing 
  • English for Extended Masters Study 2
  • Research Project
  • Specialism 2 in Business or Computing 
Then you will progress on to the modules of your chosed business or computing postgraduate degree.

How you'll be supported

You’ll have regular contact with your academic guidance tutor to help you develop as well as face-to-face and online careers and study support.  

You’ll also find the right help quickly and easily with our one-stop, 24/7 support service, Nest.
