Researchers Dr Sue Robson and Dr Antonia Zachariou working in Roehampton's Centre for Learning, Teaching and Human Development have published a new book, Self-Regulation in the Early Years, with global academic publisher Sage. Self-regulation is a child's ability to monitor and control all aspects of their behaviour.

The book supports students and practitioners in early childhood studies and early years education in their understanding of self-regulation. It explores how self-regulation underpins much of children’s development including social, emotional, behavioural and cognitive development. More information about the book can be found hereIf you are interested in receiving an inspection copy with the scope of including this book in your modules' reading list, you can use the same link to request one.
