Empowering Dance 2

Professor Sara Houston collaborates with European Dance Houses in five countries and the University of Zagreb in the Erasmus Plus funded project* Empowering Dance 2.

The EU Project has launched a digital handbook aimed at dance artists working within community settings and asks them to consciously engage with the soft skills already within their practice.

Through choreographic, teaching and facilitation approaches, the guidebook aims to equip artists with the tools to communicate the soft skills they use and how they develop and share them with participants, collaborators and potential employers.

The guidebook was launched on Sunday, 21 August in Bassano del Grappa, Italy at the BMotion International Dance Festival.
