What are the benefits of doing an IFP?

How does an IFP work?

The IFP will give you a route onto one of our undergraduate degrees, in one of the following subject areas: 

The IFP programme is designed to close the gap between your existing qualifications and those required to study an undergraduate degree, whilst developing your English language skills to a level where you can flourish in the UK university system. 

The tailored, inclusive international curriculum is taught through a series of modules via lectures, seminars, workshops by our passionate and committed academic staff. You’ll gain the confidence and academic experience you need to prepare you for studying your undergraduate degree. 

You’ll study a pathway that best supports your chosen undergraduate degree, where you’ll gain subject-specific knowledge, improve your academic study as well as your English language skills. 

Once you’ve completed your IFP, you can progress onto your chosen undergraduate degree here at Roehampton. Courses include:

Entry requirements and fees

To apply for the IFP, you will need to meet the minimum entry requirements: 

  • IELTS: 4.5 / 5.0 / 5.5 
  • UCAS International Equivalents (64 entry tariff) 
  • 5 GCSE / GCSE passes at grade C/4 or in an international equivalent
